Wisconsin wrestling has added Lane Robinson to its roster for the 2025-26 season. Head coach Chris Bono announced that Robinson, who most recently competed at Life University during the 2024-25 season and at SIUE in 2023-24, will join the Badgers.
Robinson is from St. Charles, Illinois. During his time at Life University, he competed at 157 pounds and recorded a 1-1 result at the Appalachian Open in the 2024-25 season. In the previous year with SIUE, he achieved a 4-2 record at the Greyhound Open and secured a win by fall over Wabash’s Rylan Hendricks in just 60 seconds during his collegiate debut.
In high school, Robinson wrestled for St. Charles East High School where he was an IHSA state placewinner and contributed to the school’s victory in the 2023 IHSA Class 3A state team championship. He also received several conference and sectional honors throughout his prep career.
