The Virginia Tech wrestling team secured the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) regular season title after defeating Duke 26-17 on Friday night. This marks the first time since the 2016-2017 season that the Hokies have claimed outright possession of the title, completing an undefeated run in conference competition.
Virginia Tech won six out of ten matches during Senior Night at Cassell Coliseum, concluding their dual season and earning their ninth conference title under head coach Tony Robie.
