The University of Northern Iowa (UNI) wrestling team has released its full schedule for the 2025-26 season, detailing both home and away matches as well as tournament participation.

Season tickets for the upcoming wrestling season are now available, with the program nearing a milestone of 1,000 season tickets sold for the first time in McLeod Center history. Single event tickets will be available starting Friday, October 31. Tickets can be purchased through the UNI Ticket Office by phone or email.

Due to scheduling conflicts, UNI’s home duals against Arizona State and West Virginia have been rescheduled to January 22 and February 14, respectively.

The season begins on November 9 at the Journeyman Wrestling Collegiate Classic in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The following week, UNI will compete in the inaugural National Duals Invitational in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with an opening round against North Carolina State. Athletes will also participate in the Grand View Open on November 15.

UNI’s first home match is scheduled for November 23 against North Dakota State, marking the start of Big 12 Conference duals. The team will then travel to Edwardsville, Illinois, for the Cougar Clash on December 6. Missouri visits Cedar Falls on December 14 for a conference match, and North Carolina returns on December 21 for the first time since 2017.

After the New Year, UNI faces Nebraska in Lincoln on January 3. Additional wrestlers will compete at the Soldier Salute in Coralville on January 3-4.

The NWCA Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships return to the UNI-Dome on January 9-10, where UNI aims to defend its title. Arizona State visits Cedar Falls for the first time since 1981 on January 22.

UNI then goes on a series of three conference road duals against Oklahoma State (January 30), Oklahoma (January 31), and South Dakota State (February 8). The final home conference match is against West Virginia on February 14. The team visits Iowa State on February 15 and concludes dual competition against Wisconsin on February 22.

The Big 12 Championships are set for March 6-7 at BOK Center in Tulsa. The NCAA Championships will take place at Rocket Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, from March 19-21.
