Ohio State University will compete against four Big Ten wrestling opponents at the Covelli Center in 2026, with four additional matches scheduled away from home, according to an announcement by the league on Monday.
The Buckeyes are set to host Indiana on January 11, Wisconsin on January 30, Michigan on February 1, and Iowa on February 6 in Columbus. Their away schedule includes matches at Minnesota on January 23, Nebraska on January 25, Penn State on February 13, and Maryland on February 15.
Specific match times, dates, and television broadcast details will be released later.
Last season, Ohio State finished tied for fifth place at the NCAA Championships. Two individuals from Ohio State earned All-America honors during that time. Senior Jesse Mendez is returning for the 2025-26 season to defend his back-to-back NCAA titles at 141 pounds.
The Buckeyes concluded their previous dual meet season with a record of 13 wins and three losses. The team brings back starters at eight weights out of the nine who qualified for the 2024 NCAA Championships. Returning athletes include Brendan McCrone (125), Nic Bouzakis (133), Jesse Mendez (141), Brandon Cannon (157), Paddy Gallagher (165), Carson Kharchla (174), Ryder Rogotzke (184), Seth Shumate (197), and Nick Feldman (HWT).
