Seventh-ranked NC State wrestling will participate in the inaugural National Duals Invitational, a major collegiate wrestling event taking place at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The competition begins on Saturday, November 15, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
The National Duals Invitational brings together 16 of the top NCAA Division I wrestling teams to compete for a prize pool exceeding $1 million. The winning team will receive $200,000. Sponsored by Paycom, this tournament features programs that collectively have more than 60 NCAA team titles and over 450 individual national champions.
FloWrestling will provide live streaming coverage of all 27 dual meets through FloSports on November 15 and 16. The championship final, originally scheduled to air on ESPNU, has been moved to ESPN2.
NC State is set to face No. 14 Northern Iowa in its opening round match on mat four at 10 a.m. ET Saturday morning. Depending on the outcome, NC State’s next opponent will be either No. 12 Cornell or No. 5 Oklahoma State. A first-round victory would see their second match at 6 p.m., while a loss would result in a match at 4 p.m.
