NC State wrestling is set to compete at the 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Cleveland, Ohio, beginning March 19 and running through March 21 at Rocket Arena.
The event is significant as it brings together top collegiate wrestlers from across the country, with each weight class featuring a bracket of 33 competitors. The top eight finishers in each class will earn All-American honors by the end of the three-day tournament.
NC State enters the championships with an experienced lineup that includes reigning national champion Vincent Robinson, returning All-Americans Matty Singleton and Isaac Trumble, and Ryan Jack, who earned All-American status two years ago. Trumble holds the No. 2 seed at heavyweight, while Koy Buesgens is seeded fifth at 149 pounds. Singleton is seeded sixth at 174 pounds.
The schedule for the championships spans six sessions over three days. Thursday features first and second rounds on ESPN2; Friday includes quarterfinals on ESPNU and semifinals on ESPN2; Saturday concludes with medal rounds on ESPNU and championship matches on ESPN. All sessions are also available via ESPN+.
Wrestlers representing NC State include Vincent Robinson (No. 12 seed at 125 lbs.), Zach Redding (No. 22 seed at 133 lbs.), Ryan Jack (No. 16 seed at 141 lbs.), Koy Buesgens (No. 5 seed at 149 lbs.), Will Denny (No. 10 seed at 165 lbs.), Matty Singleton (No. 6 seed at 174 lbs.), and Isaac Trumble (No. 2 seed at heavyweight).
Team scoring will be based on advancement points per win in both championship and consolation brackets, placement points for finishing positions from first to eighth place, and bonus points awarded for pins, forfeits, technical falls, or major decisions.
