The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced on April 1 that ten Missouri Tigers wrestlers have been named to the 2025-2026 NWCA Scholar All-American list, tying Arizona State for the most honorees by a single program this season.

This achievement marks a new high for the Missouri wrestling program, surpassing its previous records of eight recipients in 2024 and seven in both 2023 and 2021. It is also the seventh consecutive year that at least five Missouri student-athletes have received this recognition.

A total of 390 student-athletes from 73 institutions were honored by the NWCA for their academic accomplishments while competing during the season. The award recognizes those who have shown strong performance both academically and athletically.

NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer said, “These student-athletes have demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence both on the mat and in the classroom. We commend their dedication and the example they set for the sport.”

Among Missouri’s honorees, redshirt freshman Logan Cole (Nutrition and Exercise Physiology – Health Science – and Fitness Programming & Management), Mack Mauger (Sport Management), Jace Roller (Sport Management), Aeoden Sinclair (Accountancy), and redshirt senior Evan Bates (Positive Psychology – Grad Cert) earned Scholar All-American honors for the first time. Sophomore Gage Walker (Business Administration – Finance and Banking), redshirt sophomore Jarrett Stoner (Health Sciences), redshirt juniors Cam Steed (Sport Management) and Easton Hilton (Nutrition and Exercise Physiology), as well as redshirt senior Josh Edmond (Master of Education) were recognized for at least their second time.

The continued recognition reflects ongoing academic success within Missouri’s wrestling program.
