Missouri wrestling finished in 14th place at the 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships, which concluded on March 21 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The team scored 34 points over the three-day event and placed two of its six qualifiers on the All-American podium.

The result marks the second consecutive season that Missouri has finished 14th nationally with two All-Americans. This year, redshirt junior Cam Steed secured a fifth-place finish at 174 pounds, while freshman Aeoden Sinclair took third place at 184 pounds. Sinclair became Missouri’s first freshman All-American since 2021.

During the tournament, Missouri wrestlers combined for a record of 14-11 and earned five bonus point wins. On the final day, Steed won his fifth-place match after an early takedown gave him a lead he maintained throughout. Sinclair picked up two major decisions on Saturday morning to secure his spot in the third-place bout and ultimately finished with a season record of 30-2, including seven pins and fourteen technical falls.

Jarrett Stoner was recognized as this year’s NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award winner for wrestling. Stoner holds a perfect 4.0 GPA while majoring in health sciences and is Missouri’s first recipient of this honor.

Missouri has now had multiple All-Americans every season since 2013 and has been represented in every Saturday morning medal round during that span. Looking ahead, many team members will compete for Tiger Style Wrestling Club on the freestyle circuit, beginning with the U.S. Open in Las Vegas on April 21.
