Missouri wrestling advanced two athletes to All-American honors on March 20 during the second day of the 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The Tigers finished the day in 14th place with a total of 26.5 points as they head into the final day of competition.

The achievement is significant for Missouri, as it continues a streak of having multiple wrestlers earn All-American honors every season since 2013. Cam Steed and Aeoden Sinclair secured their spots on the podium after strong performances in their respective weight classes.

In the quarterfinals at 174 pounds, redshirt junior Steed defeated Navy’s Danny Wask in sudden victory, earning his place in the semifinals and guaranteeing All-American status. Sinclair, a redshirt freshman competing at 184 pounds, lost a close match to Iowa’s Angelo Ferrari but rebounded with wins over James Conway of Franklin & Marshall and Eddie Neitenbach of Wyoming to secure his first All-American honor.

Other Missouri wrestlers also competed on day two. Sophomore Gage Walker ended his tournament run after a close decision loss in the consolation bracket at 133 pounds. Redshirt senior Evan Bates recorded his best performance at nationals with two wins before being eliminated one round short of All-America recognition.

The Tigers have now extended their record of placing at least one wrestler in the championship semifinals for thirteen consecutive years. The final day of competition will take place on Saturday, March 21, featuring medal matches and finals sessions.
