The University of Michigan wrestling team has announced its schedule for the 2025-26 season, which includes 12 dual meets and participation in three regular-season tournaments. The announcement was made on Monday, with the release of the Big Ten Conference dual-meet lineup.

The Wolverines will begin their season at the Michigan State Open on November 8. Their first home dual meet will be against VMI on November 9.

Michigan is set to compete in the inaugural National Duals Invitational, scheduled for November 15-16 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This event features a 16-team field based on final standings from the 2025 NCAA Division I season. Eleven of the top twelve teams accepted invitations, and all participating teams finished 22nd or higher nationally. Each team is guaranteed at least two dual matches, and prize money will be awarded to the top eight teams.

Additional non-conference competition includes a trip to Columbia on November 21 and a home meet against Virginia on November 23.

For Big Ten action, Michigan will host four conference duals at Crisler Center: Michigan State (January 9), Illinois (January 18), Northwestern (January 30), and Penn State (February 6). Road conference matchups include Rutgers (January 16), Ohio State (February 1), Iowa (February 13), and Wisconsin (February 15). The regular season concludes with an away meet at Central Michigan on February 22.

Penn State is set to host the Big Ten Championships from March 7-8 in State College, Pennsylvania. The NCAA Championships will follow two weeks later, taking place March 19-21 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

Head coach Sean Bormet enters his eighth season leading a roster that returns five starters from last year. All-American Dylan Ragusin also returns after missing most of last season due to injury. The team has added three graduate transfers—Taye Ghadiali, Lachlan McNeil, and Diego Sotelo—and welcomes six freshmen.

Season tickets are now available through the Michigan Ticket Office for $50 per seat. Benefits include price discounts, priority points, and invitations to Chalk Talk events with Coach Bormet. Current ticket holders must renew by October 17; group and single-meet tickets go on sale October 20. More information can be found on the U-M Ticket Office website.
