Oklahoma State University’s Landon Robideau has been named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week following his performance in the season opener against Stanford. The announcement was made by the conference on Wednesday.

Robideau, competing at 157 pounds, faced Stanford’s Daniel Cardenas, who is ranked fourth nationally and is an All-American. In his first collegiate match, Robideau controlled the bout throughout. He scored two takedowns in the opening period and secured another with less than 10 seconds remaining to win by major decision.

This marks the second consecutive week that Oklahoma State wrestlers have received this recognition. Last week, Zack Ryder earned the honor at 184 pounds.

Oklahoma State will travel to Tulsa for the National Duals Invitational. The team is scheduled to face No. 12 Cornell on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the BOK Center.
