University of Missouri wrestler Keegan O’Toole has been recognized as an Academic All-American for the third time by College Sports Communicators. The announcement was made on Wednesday, July 9.

O’Toole is only the second Mizzou wrestler to achieve this honor three times, following Tyler McCormick who received it from 2006 to 2008. This year marks his second consecutive selection to the third team, after earning second-team honors in 2023.

The Hartland, Wisconsin native concluded his career with a notable record as the 2025 Big 12 Champion and NCAA All-American (2nd -174). He finished the season with a record of 20-1, competing against ranked opponents including three in the top five. O’Toole achieved his 100th career win against Iowa State’s Caden Schmidt on February 22 after recovering from a torn ACL. His performance at the NCAA Tournament included four wins and one loss, bringing his total career record to 108-5.

For his achievements, O’Toole was named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Big 12 Championship and earned additional academic accolades such as Academic All-Big 12 and NWCA Scholar All-America.
