Senior wrestler Jesse Mendez from Ohio State University, who is ranked first nationally at 141 pounds, will compete against Anthony Echemendia of Iowa State, ranked sixth, at the 2025 NWCA All-Star Classic. Mendez has earned three All-American honors and has won two NCAA championships in his weight class. He last faced Echemendia during the semifinals of the 2024 NCAA Championships, where Mendez secured a 6-4 victory before going on to defeat Beau Bartlett of Penn State in the final with a score of 4-1.
