The University of Iowa has released its 2025-26 Big Ten Conference men’s wrestling schedule. The announcement was made in collaboration with the Big Ten Conference. Specific times and television details for the matches will be provided at a later date.
For the upcoming season, Iowa will host four conference duals at Carver-Hawkeye Arena against Wisconsin on January 9, Penn State on January 16, Minnesota on January 30, and Michigan on February 13. The team will also compete in road duals at Nebraska (January 23), Ohio State (February 6), Michigan State (February 8), and Purdue (February 15).
Postseason competition begins with the Big Ten Championships scheduled for March 7-8 in State College, Pennsylvania. The NCAA Championships are set to take place from March 19-21 in Cleveland.
Reflecting on last season, Iowa finished with a record of 14-1 overall and a conference record of 7-1. The Hawkeyes secured third place at the Big Ten Championships and fourth place at the NCAA Championships. They had five athletes earn All-American honors and one National Champion. Additionally, Iowa led the nation in attendance for men’s wrestling events for the eighteenth consecutive year.
