Indiana University has announced the signing of Jackson Shipley to its wrestling program for the 2026 recruiting class. Head coach Angel Escobedo confirmed that Shipley, who is from Dripping Springs, Texas, will join the Hoosiers in the fall of 2026.
Shipley wrestles for Dripping Springs High School under coach Joe Kirksey and also competes with the 3F Wrestling club. He is a 2025 UIL 6A Texas State Champion at 113 lbs and was the runner-up at 106 lbs in the 2024 UIL 6A Texas State competition. As a junior, Shipley recorded a season record of 32-2.
In addition to his state titles, Shipley was named the Austin Area High School Boys Wrestler of the Year for 2024-25 and is ranked as the No. 12 wrestler at 113 lbs by MatScouts. He has earned All-American honors four times during his high school career.

He joins Tommy Gibbs as part of Indiana’s incoming class for that year.
