The Big Ten Conference has released the preliminary pre-seed list for the 2026 Big Ten Wrestling Championships, which will be held from March 7-8 at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania.
These pre-seeds provide an initial bracket setup for each weight class but are not yet final. The conference’s coaches will meet on Friday to review and finalize the seeding ahead of the championships.
Indiana University’s wrestling team currently has all ten starters placed within their respective brackets. The pre-seeds for Indiana athletes are as follows: Jacob Moran is seeded fourth at 125 pounds; Blaine Frazier holds the twelfth seed at 133 pounds; Henry Porter is ninth at 141 pounds; Joey Buttler and Bryce Lowery are both seeded eleventh at 149 and 157 pounds respectively; Tyler Lillard is ninth at 165 pounds; Derek Gilcher holds the sixth seed at 174 pounds; Sam Goin is ninth at 184 pounds; Gabe Sollars is eighth at 197 pounds, and Caleb Marzolino is fourteenth in the heavyweight division (285).
